50 brands on demonstration

One standard: it has to sound real.

Dave has no single allegiance. The house is set up like a lab, with American and European brands side by side, so you can hear what changes when you swap an amplifier, a speaker or a cable, and decide for yourself.

The reference collection

Flagships and icons from the brands we carry, from the speakers to the streamers and amplifiers behind them. Which are playing in the rooms changes through the year, so ask before you visit.

Not on the list?

Ask anyway. Dave has probably sold it, set it up or lived with it.

Thirty years in New York high-end audio means a working knowledge of far more brands than fit in one house. If you are weighing something we do not carry, bring it up. You will get a straight answer.
